I suppose matters like the internment and abuse of Kenyans during the emergency there have to go through the courts to establish a verifiable, fact-based version of events for the future.

I hope that the British government is not fighting this and being too confrontational though - when there is no doubt that such terrible things took place, it would be far better to work together to build a decision that can be the foundation for future reconciliation.
