Euan McKay is designated associate professor and international strategy lead at Nagoya University. His research examines LGBTQ+ experiences in Japanese higher education and gender equity in STEM fields, with the aim of supporting the creation of an inclusive environments in higher education.

Euan McKay is designated associate professor and strategy lead in the International Strategy Office at Nagoya University, where he works on creating the infrastructure to enable data-driven international strategy. His research examines LGBTQ+ experiences in Japanese higher education and barriers facing women in STEM disciplines. He has published on gender equity in STEM, science communication, and diversity in higher education in journals including PLoS ONE, Physical Review Physics Education Research, and Public Understanding of Science.
